Quality Tip – Dust Hiding Spots

Having a dust free accommodation is undoubtedly one of your top priorities as a tourism operator.  Afterall, who would want to stay in a dirty room?  Our Ratings Advisor spends many days and nights on the road, staying in different accommodations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador each year.  Even the most seasoned houseperson may miss some spots where dust likes to hide.  Check out a list of some of the more popular places we have found that are often missed during inspections:

  • top of curtains, baseboards, thermostats, pictures;
  • behind beds, night stands, tv’s;
  • rungs on table and chair legs;
  • ceiling fans, light fixtures.
